Board Of Directors

Alpine 4 Holding, Inc.’s Board of Directors gives guidance to the executive office and other senior management in the competent and ethical operations of Alpine 4. They assure that the long-term interests of shareholders are being served. To satisfy the Board’s duties, directors are expected to take a proactive, focused approach to their positions, and set standards to ensure that Alpine 4 is committed to success through high standards of responsibility and ethics.

    Before being named CEO/President in June 2014, Mr. Wilson was the Chief Financial Officer of United Petroleum, Inc and was responsible for all of the company’s financial and reporting operations, including end-to-end management of the company’s supply chain and financial support systems. In prior years, he also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Crystal Technologies, Ltd a technology company serving both the automotive industry and the insurance industry. Kent played a key and critical role in the development and deployment of a strategic web-based insurance platform for automobile dealerships. ​

    Mr. Wilson earned his MBA from Northcentral University and considers himself a “University of Arizona Wildcat”. He also spent 4 years studying at the University of Arizona before earning his undergraduate degree in Management from the University of Phoenix. ​

    Mr. Wilson also serves on the Board of Directors for Restoration Ministries dba Crossroads Youth a faith-based organization dedicated to helping at risk children of the working poor in downtown Phoenix.

    Mr. Jeffrey Hail joined Alpine 4 Technologies, Ltd. from its inception, working with Alpine 4’s CEO, Kent Wilson and has been an integral part in building the strategy and vision of Alpine and its subsidiary companies. ​

    Mr. Hail came onboard bringing a diverse background that includes both government and private sector experience. Raised in Scottsdale, AZ, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Operations and Production Management from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.

    After college, he worked in the Contracts and Procurement Section with the State of Arizona at its Department of Transportation for a number of years and then transitioned to the private sector by starting several different companies and building them to be the leaders in their niche sectors from both electronics manufacturing to e-commerce. As a result, he brings a broad-based background of business experience and acumen especially within the operational aspects of running a business in today’s realm.

    Prior to joining the Alpine 4 team, Mr. Kantrowitz was a project manager for two major homebuilders in Phoenix, AZ, Continental Homes and Engle homes. Ian has also been actively involved in the automotive industry where his in-depth knowledge of the auto industry lends a valuable perspective to our in-house Altia product lines. Additionally, Mr. Kantrowitz was a licensed life and health insurance broker before becoming a top performing banker for Wells Fargo Bank, ranking number 5 in the country.

    Mr. Kantrowitz is responsible for managing the communication between Alpine 4’s corporate management and investors. He helps support the creation and release of pertinent information, handles inquiries and meetings, provides feedback to management from current and potential investors and assists in crisis management. In addition to his role as Investor Relations, Mr. Kantrowitz has been integral in raising capital from the private sector since the inception of Alpine 4.

    Shannon Rigney

    Prior to joining Alpine 4, Ms. Rigney was a financial/contracts analyst for Bard Peripheral Vascular, Inc., a division of C.R. Bard, now Becton, Dickinson and Company. She also has sales, marketing and customer relationship building experience in the automotive/transportation, home building and travel industries. She has a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from The Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona.

    As a valuable asset, Ms. Rigney works with Investor Relations in building and maintaining a positive public image for Alpine 4. She contributes in the creation of media, from press releases to social media messages that increase awareness of the company. She assists in keeping all social media platforms updated with current news and information in addition to website updates. Ms. Rigney has been part of the Alpine 4 team since its inception.

    Tabatha Jones

    As VP of Corporate Accounting, Mrs. Jones oversees all accounting, business support, quarterly and year end auditing and payroll. Tabatha joined Alpine 4 April of 2018 as a senior staff accountant and has worked closely with Alpine 4’s senior leadership.

    Prior to joining Alpine’s team, Tabatha held a portfolio accounting position for 11 years at a homeowner’s association management company that operated in 3 separate states and had over 300 accounts. Mrs. Jones has over 14 years in the accounting field that stems between accounts payable management, portfolio accounting, corporate and individual tax returns preparation and filing.

    After Tabatha was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps in 2005 for 8 years of active duty, she went to school and received degrees in Accounting and Business Management all while raising 3 children with her husband of 21 years.

    After graduating from San Diego State in 2004 with a degree in History and a Minor in Business Management, Mr. Garcia dove headfirst into the world of sales by getting into the wine and spirit industry and then onto mortgages and loans. After several years and gaining B2B experience, Mr. Garcia moved onto the pharmaceutical and medical device industries where he quickly rose to management roles.

    In 2016, Tim joined the Alpine4/QCA team as a Business Development Manager where he quickly proved himself and moved into a Sales Director role and then onto current role of VP of Sales. Mr. Garcia is responsible for daily sales activity, meeting with major clients, sales reports and budgeting, designing new and more effective sales strategies. He also works to market and promote company products and services. Mr. Garcia is an incredible asset to the Alpine 4 executive team with his diverse background in multiple industries and B2B success.

    Larry Zic

    As VP and Corporate Controller, Larry helps guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies, procedures and internal controls. Mr. Zic monitors and confirms financial conditions by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.

    Mr. Zic brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Alpine 4 leadership team. He received a double Bachelors in both Accounting and Computer Information Systems from St. Joseph College and his MBA from Indiana University. Larry received his CPA and began his public accounting career at a regional Chicago firm. In addition to being a CFO of an international retail business, Mr. Zic was a Senior Vice President of Finance for Sake, Inc., a $5b annual retail department store chain. He has been part of implementing 12 ERP systems over his career. It is this experience that will help advance the execution of Alpine 4’s SpectrumEbos ERP system both internally and commercially. Mr. Zic also taught auditing at Purdue University. Larry will assist in keeping the Alpine 4 leadership team up to date and compliant with accounting and auditing policy and procedures.

    Prior to joining Alpine 4, Mr. Codling worked for Ancestry.com as a lead development architect. His team led the way for the creation of several new innovations that allowed Ancestry.com to facilitate billions of transactions daily. Craig was the founder of Kiware, Inc., a robust ERP platform for the manufacturing and wholesale industries. He and Kiware worked closely with manufacturing businesses to provide greater visibility to their accounting, inventory management, customer relation and project management data needs.

    Craig assists in developing the company’s strategy for using technological resources. He also ensures technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely and evaluates and implements new systems and infrastructure. Craig develops policies and procedures and uses technology to enhance products and services that focus on Alpine 4’s internal and external clients.

    Trish Norvell

    Ms. Norvell came to Alpine 4 Technologies through the acquisition of Deluxe Sheet Metal in 2019. Trish has worked in both the public and private sectors where she gained twenty years’ experience in the Human Resources field which includes two years of Global HR experience. 

    Trish started her career with Whirlpool Corporation where she spent eight years in the consumer finance operations division of their wholly owned subsidiary, Whirlpool Financial Corporation.  Throughout her career, Trish has specialized in the design, development, implementation, and management of HR strategies such; as risk management and compliance, benefits design and administration, employee relations and labor management, HRIS implementation, talent and performance management, organizational development, full cycle recruiting and on-boarding and employment law which she now proudly leads for Alpine 4 Technologies and subsidiary companies. 

    Ms. Norvell is also the Treasurer/Director of Finance for Anchor Church of God in Stevensville, MI. She also leads their prayer ministry and is active in pastoral counseling.
